Re: 1992 Dark Teal LSI
Bumping this thread. CAR IS NOW FREE. Must pick up. If not gone by the end of the week I will be having it towed to a scrap yard.
Requires a trailer to pick up.

Re: CAI Feeler
This is a horrible attitude to take with customers Johnny. I have to say, I realize you're on the defensive, but showing your frustration with snide comments is truly disgusting. Your business issues...

Re: low rpm stalling
Do yourself a favor and clean your MAF. Easiest thing to do and it is a likely culprit. Just buy some MAF cleaner (don't use anything else) and spray the crap out of it, let it air dry, then...

Re: Cylinder pitting
I have only seen the inside of one, but you could still see the crosshatch and every cylinder was true and round. Surface quality of the cylinders was surprisingly good. It had nearly 200k miles.

He constantly posts on Facebook about money problems and needing a second job, or getting fired from it. I doubt he still has the funds or could reimburse the people who have paid him already.

Re: Too much timing belt travel...
Keith,
Most of the threads you post in have replies with concerns about tone, excessive sarcasm, or other issues with your attitude. Like a wise man once told me, "If people think your an asshole,...

Re: engine sqeak and overheat
First fill the block directly through the upper radiator hose until full. Then connect the hose and fill the radiator. It is very easy to trap air in our engines. If you just filled the radiator up I...

Re: upper cam rubber seal rubber plugs
You could just unplug the 6 injectors and crank the engine a bit. The only problem doing it this way is that you are moving the internals while priming. It's not the best method, but I did it a...

Re: 11:1 CR Built Motor
The car is in decent shape, but has it's list of things that need done. PM me if you are interested. I can't take 2500 for it but could probably work something out.

Re: House buying
Depends on what your job situation is like. With rates as low as they are, you don't have as much to gain from putting 20% down. About 30 years ago when interest rates were over 10%, it was...

Re: Crankshaft socket
That tool is pointless, and a waste of money. The crank pulley bolt is the best option. I don't see any need to stress the woodruff key more than necessary.

11:1 CR Built Motor
Up for sale is the engine from my car. Look in my thread history for the thread on its build. I believe it is titled "11:1 Engine Build".
Here is a list of all the things that were done to it.

In short, no. I had goals I was working toward, but they were just that...goals. I was shooting for roughly 300hp at the wheels, but have not had it dyno'd. I recommend whoever buys it take it to...

Re: For sale feeler
I will get on that. Needs a paint job and some minor body work. Interior is decent, but far from perfect. The gem here is the engine. I will take some pics when I get home or sometime this weekend.

Re: For sale feeler
I made a typo above. So for clarification, asking price is 4k OBO for the engine. I don't think I would ask more for the car either.
As stated above go ahead and make an offer.
