96 Lsi

Mulling over selling my 96 at the Jersey Shore. Had planned on having son drive this back and forth 20 miles a day to school but thinking something less noticeable would be a better choice, although I like the awd and what was in 96 a lot of safety. He s mortified to drive to school in a old minivan but it's safe and dependable. Thinking maybe he has a used Forester in his future although hes thinking used audi or wrx!!!

Sorted out the undisclosed problems found after purchase with a good mechanic and still needs a new rear window wiper motor, dent on side pulled and respray of bumper and roof. Can see some previous overspray but seems minor. Never got the stock wheels but nice aftermarket oz's. Planned on powdercoating them black. Engine trans brakes now solid as is ac. All leaks stopped, New gaskets in places I did not think had gaskets. Seats great. Needs a new dash switch as emergency button falls off but works. After market wood dash kit was awful and hid small crack in dash. Bad tint on rear window needs removal. Front left speaker dies. Runs strong. 103k miles.

Like driving it, and as the likelihood of ever buying a Guard's Red 911 gets more unlikely as I pay each tuition payment and they go up in value I am reluctant to sell but such is life. Any interest from someone who will give it a good home? A few pics in album. More if any interest. Unmotivated seller but will price realistically and disclose all of cars foibles.

Good Luck with the sale. ;) Your right, window tint needs to come off. Do it in the sun will make it easier to get glue off. Careful not to cut the defroster lines.
