Just playing with Photoshop

I'm on vacation at the beach and it's raining. So I tried some bod mod for the SVX. No spoiler, chopped off trunklid, stubbed both bumpers, fanciful aero kit, gunmetal-ish wheels.
A bit sloppy but the sun's coming out. Ready for your abuse. |
Re: Just playing with Photoshop
now you have to chop the top to make the proportions work...;)

That looks excellent (minus the dent). Very Italian. Giorgetto would be proud.
There's still enough room for a suitcase and a couple of cases of beer in the back. |
Re: Just playing with Photoshop
There is no dent. It's a reflection. I guess I could photoshop it out of the door.

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
Looks good. Do mine next...

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
The shorter rear-end reminds me of a Corvette

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
Cool makes it look more rounded, like a Isuzu Impulse or Volkswagen Corrado. Actually the more I look at it the more I like it.

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
I like. Looks more contemporary. How about a full fastback look? Keep playing around, please.

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
Now that is the way they should have made it... That looks good.

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
Need to narrow down the front section of fixed door glass with the fastback version. Stock width stops the eye from easily flowing toward the rear.

Re: Just playing with Photoshop
I was thinking more of a Porsche 911 angle on the back. But, then again, beggers can't be choosers.

Okay, a front and a rear Photoshop mess.
Rear edit is really fake looking and the added driver's side rear wheel is a bit off, but it gets across the idea of having a rear diffuser, larger but tighter bumper, no spoiler, different angle on the back of the trunk lid, etc. Front adds body skirt but is hard to see, no spoiler, clear side markers, tighter front bumper, trunk lid change, darkened wheels that are supposed to be gunmetal but I didn't get it right. All in all, pretty amateur photoshop work but gives an idea of the modifications I've thought might look good. Maybe it's nice, maybe just too far from the original design. |
Re: Just playing with Photoshop
That second shot.. Yes please!
Man.. I wish I was good a photoshop, and even better at custom fiberglass work. With the low profile bumpers, you could probably hack away half of the enormous cow pusher bumper reinforcements. Also the color of that SVX is glorious. I love green Subarus. |
