Spotted: burgandy/black GTT rego on Mowbray Road on Saturday

I was in the car in front waving like a loon:). The hint that you were behind another SVX'er was the SVX-33H number plates, albeit on a Toyota.

Well, many years ago before owning an SVX, a Toyota Camry did sterling and amazing service as a limited edition 'SVX Pursuit Vehicle' so all part of the SVX heritage!

After deciding that it is unlikely that I will get one again, GTT turns up behind me. I abandoned the car, wife and kids in the car space and ran back up to see if he was still there (traffic delays) but too far up the road and a very unhappy wife.

Not sure he would have appreciated someone running up, out of breath and screaming in the window

"hiyoudon'tknowmebutjointhesvxnetwork.thisisaserie s1,lovely car..." BOOM as my head explodes

For a while there James, I thought that can't possibly be the same Toyota chase car.:D

It's been upgraded to an Avalon!

It will take a while to come to terms with how insanely expensive cars are here compared to the UK (where I certainly had my fix of uberbarges!) so only needed a runabout till I decide what to get - my wife will learn to drive in it so does not matter if she scuffs it etc.

Went through the collection of SVX things that I have gathered over the years - certainly managed to get a lot. My wife commented that if I don't get one, then perhaps sell them off. I'll give it a few months and then see.
