1994 SVX computer code reader
 

What hand held OBD code reader will work on the 1994 SVX? The OBD 1's, I've found are only good up to 1993. The OBD 2's are for the 1995 and up. Is my 1994 the red headed stept child of the SVX family?

I believe your info is inaccurate. My 95 is ODB1, so I speculate that your 94 is the same. :)

The ones listed in the JC Whitney Catalog were the ones I was writing about. Where did you buy yours and what brand is it?

ODB-II was not officially in used till 96+ cars in the US so if you have 94, that's ODB-I/Subaru code
