Will this rear differential work?
 

Will a 2002 Legacy Outback rear differential work for a 4.44 swap?
I know I will need to use my original carrier but was wanting to know if a 2002 will work.

2002 Legacy Outback 2.5L Automatic non turbo 4.44 gear ratio....hope this helps..

yeah, as long as the rear diff ratio matches it will work. you have stated there both 4:44's.

thats cool....I wasn't sure because It says it will fit 2000-2009 outback.
And not the 96-98 outback (which I knew would work). I guess it mounts up different.
