Gee Tom, while I was typing up my reply, you were posting.

[I expect with the cost of posting to France it would be simpler for Pierre-Olivier to swallow the core charge, non?]

Joe :rolleyes: :D

Tom

I mentioned to Pierre-Olivier in another thread, as his car is Euro spec it will have come with the speed-sensitive steering rack. So the LS rack will not do for his application.

You already know this I expect.

Speed sensitive or not the rack are the same. There is a variable proportioning valve in the speed sensitive, the is merely a regulator on the RPM sensitive> At least that is what I have come to understand.

I was looking at an LS rack, and it was different, different lines, than the LS-L on my Claret?

Really?? I guess I need to take a closer look at this and see exactly what the differences are

edit: Looks like you are right they are a little different. I know for a fact that the LS-L rack AKA speed sensitive is what we have have to offer, I will look into whether or not we can get the other ones

UPDATE!:confused::confused::confused:

I sent you a private message earlier this week. I have the one in my parts car and although I did not ever drive it, the steering is tight (no play) while moving it around the property and there are no leaks.
