Right now needs 1 spark plug replaced, but I may get this done this week.

Comments about the car: Where do I begin.....

This car and I have have had a long few years together. I have over 15k in restoration on this car and can finally say it is an enjoyable daily driver. As most of you know, I have been active in the SVX world and really love and enjoy the cars. Now I am ready to move on and i'm looking for a new project to begin .

I have updated just about everything on this car, radiator, window switches, door locks, exhaust is custom, new starter, battery, control arms, wheel bearings... this is the short list, basically I have replaced everything minus a couple bushings and the power steering.

It gets a regular oil change every 3k miles religiously. Had the transmission fluid flushed in the last 8k miles and the coolant. I have receipts for most of the work done. The few I dont have Jason (budfreak) can vouch for as he has done a lot of the work on this car.

This was the car that was beta tested for the Quick change shift kit. I had put it on the dyno before and after the QC was installed. I have all of those documents as well as drag racing time slips to show the improvement at the track.

Asking price: I am willing to trade for other cars, or asking price is $3500 OBO.

Pictures:
These pictures where taken January 1 at the dragway:

It would make it with no problems. I have been driving on it for almost 20k miles. :o It makes noise, but doesn't wobble.

I saw this car in person last year.

Has that dangling exhaust been redone? Also, has any of that rust been addressed?

What was restored?

The exhaust was tightened up at a local shop a little while ago.

I would say most everything from the radiator to the rear diff since the time your previous employer and ex-boyfriend sold me the car. Only thing I never did much with is the body. Which was my plan this year had I decided to keep the car.

Not trying to be a ***** or question you and it really doesn't matter at this point as its been several years, just stating facts as I have them and remember them.

Can you air the dirty laundry elsewhere? I had a legitimate question. Id appreciate private messages remaining private. Thanks.

I was only trying to help you back then, before you sank thousands of dollars into an SVX that should have probably never been put back on the road without MAJOR thorough work, some of which still has not been completed. Used components and MAACO paint hardly constitute a restoration. I saw this car at Tom Krynock's house on the lift, and took a look at some of your mechanic's handy work (reference: welded washers instead of replacing rubber diff bushings), and noticed very advanced underbody rust and rot on most items.

Edit: You also neglected to mention that the car was salvaged once, according to it's history, in a major front end collision with which some of the front clip was replaced.

It was not dirty laundry until you tried to lie to me. Lets keep the facts straight here.

I have a carfax on this car for anyone that wants to see it. And yes it was in an accident back in 1994? or 1995 can't remember, says in the carfax. Something the previous owner mentioned above failed to tell me until after I bought the car. It sure as heck was not "fully serviced ready for summer driving" when I bought it, but it is a heck of a lot closer to that now.
