It is glued on the inside of the car to the metal frame. I would take a heat gun to it and roll the edge towards the outside, then remove it, and reapply weatherstrip adheasive to the new moulding and use several c-clamps to hold the new rubber tight in place against the frame and let it set up for several hours.

Hi Chris, hope these help. The last three are most relevant & one of them describe the heatgun rolling thing redlightning recommended - the first couple give an overview of the whole door/window mechanisms and tolerances.

Windscreen place told me to use either 3M weatherstrip adhesives &/or 3M quick-fix (for smaller tears).

Now if only they could have told me why the lower front part of the upper glass seems to have a foam strip that joins to the normal weatherstrip and how to fix or recondition that.

Tania.
