Stopping by
It has certainly been a while. I still troll the forums from time to time. I have been missing the SVX a lot lately. Still wish I had it. For those who remember, I traded in the SVX for a Mazdaspeed Protege, and honestly, I don't regret it. The situation I was in was toxic, and needed a car that wasn't quickly dying on me.
I have been looking around, and have found a few unmolested SVX's that I might entertain buying. As for now, the Protege will fit me just well. In just over a year it went from stock 14.8 second passes to a new turbo setup and 11.8-12.2 passes all on street tires. Just a little update. I will hopefully be around a bit more, as the SVX may find it's way back into my garage before winter. |
Re: Stopping by
Wow, that is a BIG improvement since I saw you last a few weeks ago at the track. What did you do!?
I too have got an increase with the race SVX. I snapped parts in the center differential and was forced to move up my time line for gear swap. I am now in the mid 15s, but that was just two weeks ago in 90+ degree air and corrected altitude of 5400-5600 feet. I am patiently waiting for the cooler October temperatures to get a more overall scope of speed change. |
Re: Stopping by
New manifold that is no longer falling apart on me, and I got my piggyback Unichip, Pink Top JDM STI injectors 650 cc and two inline Walbro 255 fuel pumps. Next purchase is a bottle for my intercooler sprayer.
Car is definitely coming along nicely:D |
