Modifications: none

Major service: none but some pending (see "transmission")

Engine Condition: 3300 CC Engine in good shape - no problems.

Maintenance Records: regular maintenance history for life of the car as this
is a single family-owned vehicle

Transmission condition: needs full internal tranmission work - currently
awaiting the right buyer to rescue it or we will repair and sell at higher
price soon.

Glass condition: good, zero cracks

Type of tire and remaining tread: new premium tires, 3000 miles on them,
good tread.

Type of wheels: 16" Unidirectional Alloy Wheels

Interior condition: good

Body condition: good but some rust exists in two small areas (see pictures).
3" scuff on bumper.

Known defects or problems: only the transmission

Comments about the car: we have loved this car since we drove it fresh off
the dealer lot brand new in October 1991. I am told that it was one of the
first in the country. We have original decals that were never put on the
car (my dad liked the mystery and enjoyed people always asking him what kind
of a car it was).

I do not have an edit post option at the end of this post. Perhaps its because you set up the original. If you cannot give me this option, its OK. I am losing patience and will most likely sell the car on Monday to a local for $300 (feels like a crime but I am running out of time). My edit was that I was going to part it out...the motor is in good condition and I am told is worth $800.

Northern IN is a long way from Somerset, KY....
Would cost me $500-600 to have it hauled down here....
So that puts me out.

Understood. That seems to be one of the big probs. I hate to see it go to a junk yard, but it looks like its destiny at this point. Thanks for your interest!

If you decide to part it out I am in South Bend and need a front bumper (unless thats the bumper you mentioned was damaged), passenger front t/s, and possibly passenger door panel if its in better shape than mine. That would easily be half the 300 you mentioned selling it for, hook a local svx lover up.

Yeah- I know I could make more than $300 by parting it out but I need the money now and don't have the car savvy that most on this site have. I also don't have the space to be parting out a car anyway, unless someone wanted to buy the motor or something.

Would love to "hook a local up" but I need to get rid of the car. Its at the auto shop now and is not drivable. I have to get it out of there and it costs me $50 everytime I tow it. Its a big bummer because I KNOW that it is worth so much more; hope you find what you are looking for!

OK, deal. If the only way it's worth your time is to part it out is if you sell the motor, I'll take that also, but I can only give you $50 for it!!

But seriously, if all you can get is $300 and you havent sold it yet, if it has any gears left, I'll give you $400 for it & limp it up here.
