94 Bordeaux in Colorado
 

I was recently contacted by the gentleman I purchased my SVX from.

He is putting his second SVX up for sale and asked me if I could possibly find a buyer for the car.

First off the car that I purchased from him was mint with 54K (all of his cars are). I actually wanted to purchase the 94 but his wife wouldn't allow him to sell it. Of course now I don't have the money.:(

Anyhow I have seen this car and it is beautiful. Everything works perfectly.

The car is in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Here is the description of the vehicle in his own words from our emails back and forth.

"Ira,

I'm truly thrilled that you have enjoyed the 92 SVX so much. You have put more miles on it in a year and 1/2, than we did the entire time that we owned it. The 94 Bordeaux has 66,957. miles on it. The interior is more like a perforated suede leather look, which is a bit more forgiving than the firmer solid leather in the 92, and I would describe the interior color as tan. Overall condition is like the 92. No tears in the interior. A fairly small scratch underneath the left rear side panel. Already has the factory rear spoiler. You know how I keep my vehicles. The car is always garaged, so the color still looks 99 % new. We are simply trimming down right now, as we have too many vehicles, and we won't allow ourselves to drive this car (nor did we the 92) to places like work, shopping, etc. This limits us to driving it about once a month down to Gateway for breakfast, as we won't leave it in a parking lot anywhere. The engine compartment looks 99 % new as well. Total car is in perfect mechanical condition. I service the car more based on time than on miles, to insure that all filters and fluids are changed at least once a year, regardless of miles. It presently has very fresh oil, as well as oil & air filters. Also fairly recently replaced the transmission filter and fluid. I just took some photos today, and planned on putting it on e-Bay, with a minimum reserve of $5,000. I know this is above the "average retail", but like the other car, this is no where near "average" condition, and has low miles. I'll hold off for a few days to give you a chance to see if you know any interested parties."

sounds like a fwd ls. that's the only thing keep me from going to buy it right now. :)

Okay here is an update.

The owner crawled under the vehicle and to his surprise found that it is indeed a front drive SVX.
