Just a feeler to see if there is interest. I am wavering between keeping her after the swap or buying a Celica. Feel free to ask questions, she is in great shape in my opinion, and Im sure im forgetting some stuff which I will edit in.

Na man, that Celica's been gone for a while. I'm rocking a pair of AE86's now, one red and one panda. Selling the red one to get a winter (and probably long term) DD. My 1st SVX came to me so easily, it sucks that it's so hard to find the next one.

My 4.11 swap is finally all worked out... now I know what you mean Eric, about being on the highway and flooring the pedal and the car holds its gear.. amazing! I have torque whenever i need it! :lol:

The one I'm selling is an SR-5 model. Carb'd, with an open rear diff. The shell is extremely clean, which is the reason why I picked this up to begin with. Unfortunately, 4 days later, my cousin calls me and tells me he just bought me a panda gt-s hatch (I tell certain people to buy certain cars when they see them for me, and I'll pay them back) which kind of made it pointless for me to have the red hatch. I was thinking about doing a 1jzgte swap, since it comes out to a total of2 grand...at most, and that it'd make a really nice daily in the spring. It's up now though, for $2250obo or trades.
If I sell it, it'll only be for something awd, and if it's awd, it'll be for a Subaru. I found an older Legacy turbo (2.2 sohc turbo awd) a few miles away from my house, so I was thinking of going for that, but I'd really like another SVX since that car was so damn awesome. That's pretty much the story for that.

well, the transmission issue is obviously taken care of... :D

yes, the CEL still pops on throwing an O2 code, but if you clean the grounds it disappears for a few weeks, something i just live with.
The exhaust resonator would need to be replaced eventually, the flanges broke, but the NJ inspection is good for another 2 years, and is transferrable if you live in jersey.

New Kumho Ecsta ASX tires, just did the fuel, air, and oil filters. Most parts on the car are new. It has the Alcyone lightbar, the Alcyone hood badge, and the Boxer engine cover. I would do a straight up trade +$500. maybe we set up a time this weekend to check out each others cars if you want. Clifton is not far for me.

Sounds like a plan. I'm at school working all day on Saturday. If you want to make a trip to NJIT, I can have one of the people I work with cover me at the desk until we're done. If not, then Sunday I'm free for the larger part of the late morning/afternoon.
