San Antonio meet

Hey, this saturday (the 11th) we're having a meet down here in San Antonio, anyone in the area is welcome to come! Some of the Impreza owners might show up as well. The meet is gonna be in the Home Depot parking lot at Bandera and 1604, at 4pm. PM me or someone else from the S.A. crew for a cell# if you need to contact someone that way.

Can I trailer it? hah! Man I will be there in spirit. Good luck you guys. Atleast you can drive your SVS while I just get to sit in my SUX.

I see my bids for morning time fell on deaf ears... oh well, a little opressive heat never hurt anyone.

I'm looking forward to meeting the other folks, (are we confirmed with 6 people? What ever became of Alan?)

K, hope my car continues to run until then

Your actually on? wow!:p ;)

Haha, I see Alan posting sometimes but he never replies back to anything I send him. I think his SVX is still undergoing major service. I didnt know anything about it being in the morning, I was only told Home Depot at 4pm.

I tried for 8 am, but SOME of us can't get up before the crack of noon. ;)

I am just amazed that in San Antonio, not exactly what you would consider an area in desperate need of AWD, that we have at least 6 SVX owners in contact with each other... bizzare, we could start our own user group with this many....

I'd bet that Subaru didn't sell more than two dozen new SVXs in San Antonio during the years they were in production. Sometime during the meet, find out how many participant's cars were actually sold as new in San Antonio. Best wishes for a successful meet.

Come anyways! It's like an hour drive. I do that just visiting Scott in San Antonio! And you know, I won't be there with my SVX either (she's in the paintshop) and I may be bringing another SVXer from Dallas (halistan - 93 anniversary) so he won't have his either. So your SVX wouldn't be the only one there in spirit. Its still fun to show up and meet the owners! ;) It's great putting a real face to these user ids and you will get to see other SVXs. :)

And Scott has spotted 2 more (1 laguna and 1 maybe polo green) on the east side of town. I also spotted another laguna on culebra last week. Then Dustin's mom spotted a bordeaux! Plus there is a green svx for sale off culebra for $3k. We are flooded with SVXs it seems! Its awesome.

Well, not mine... I searched online, flew to michigan, and drove my baby home 7 years ago... she's been happy in Texas ever since. ;)

You need to come by! Even though you dont have the SVX anymore, we'll make up for not meeting last summer.

Mine is from CA originally, took me weeks to get the granola out of the seats.

I think Don bought his new, but I can't say for sure if it was in San Antonio.

Nice to see you guys are getting together. I'd need a flatbed to get mine there, still in many pieces. Hope I can remember how to put it back together ;) My goal is to get it repainted and running by next summer. We'll see.

Stevebsy 08-07-2007 09:06 PM

Dang..I'll be up heading up there from the RGV on Sunday to see the Rush concert, but not on Saturday. :(

Probably in the lowly RS, unless I can get my broken axle swapped out asap.

When's the next one?

Scott is going to the rush concert as well, so you could probably call him up and meet up with him there. We dont know when the next meet is gonna be, this one was just kinda to get all 4 of us in the same place (and anybody else who wanted to stop by). Alan, you should still come out to the meet, me and marisa will be SVX-less so you wont be the only one.
