Dabob Seafood Meet Aug 3 - 5
 

The Dabob Seafood Meet is Aug 3, 4, and 5 this year. I will be posting more information on it very soon. Watch for details and mark your calendars. You should have done that already, because it was announced at the Dabob Seafood Meet last year. :o :)

We've already fended off at least three other events that could have potentially been planned on these dates, we are looking very forward to it!

We will start sign up.
 

I have a few rooms that members can use, and you can also camp or use a couch. I will try to get you set up so you are comfortable. Some even bring an air matress and sleep under the roof over the deck. I will provide shellfish, chicken, and burgers on Sat at the main meal. People can bring some other food to go with it. If you will be there mornings, or other days, bring some other food that can be shared and we usually have lots of food to eat. I will also have waffels on Sat and Sun mornings. We just need some other stuff to go with them.

The water will be warm (70 to 80) and you can swim, walk the beaches, use the kayaks and canoe. We will try to have some kind of meet or drive on Sunday. Saturday we usually look at cars and just enjoy the company of the great members we have.

I need to know who is coming and for how long, and what kind of accomendations you need. This is one of the best meets that we have all year, so if you miss it, it is your loss.

Seafood meet
 

I would really like some more information about the rooms. How much are they? Is this held on private property? We would love to attend the meet and meet some folks with SVX's. We've had one for about a year, we have had to replace most of the parts other than the engine and the body. It is a work in progress but we would like to join in on August 4th and 5th. We live in La Grande Oregon so the drive is long. Look forward to hear from you. Fishtail.

Fishtail - I'm sure Earl will have more info for you, but yes, it is on private property, Earl's family owns it. The rooms are free, but we like to all contribute a modest donation just to help cover the food that Earl brings and also the cleaning bill. Would love to meet you guys, sounds like you are pretty dedicated to the SVX to put so much work into one! :)

We would love to have you come to the meet. A couple of rooms have one bed in them (king and Queen), one with 2 twin beds, front room has 2 couches and a hida-bed, and a small building with 5 beds. Camping is great - grass and tents can be pitched and covered area where air matresses can be used. If I know the number of people and how many nights they will be there, I try to assign for best use and space. Food, conversation and activities are the best. :) I hope to meet you soon. :D

Two of us
 

There will be two of us. We will come in on Saturday Morning the 4th. Please make room for the two of us if there is a spare room. We will need the address so we can get directions. Looking forward to meeting all of you. Sounds like a great time. Fishtail.

We are going to have a fun Rally on Sat morning. If you are already there, you will leave on it early and as people arrive, they will go on it before we eat. It should only take about an hour to drive the 22 mile course. It is on good roads, but details will be important. This is going to be great fun and some prizes will be given for the top 3 places of the event. :) :)
