I got a new ride!!
 

Well, Penny can now become the garage queen and keep down on her miles. She is no longer one of the few daily-driver SVXes.
Yesterday we went out of state to buy a new truck. Not new, just new to us. My camera battery is dead, so I can't post pics tonight.
It is a 2002 Dodge Dakota SLT quadcab. The color is close to Penny's original color, just more red than she was. I drove the truck 200+ miles to get home today and it drives very nicely. I'm very pleased with our purchase!

Once I finally get the right battery for my camera, I'll post pics of both the new truck and the deer whistles.

And yes, Penny does indeed get better mileage.......

There is, in fact, something nice about being able to leave the "baby" in the garage for extended periods of time, isn't it. And not have the miles build up too much. That's what I doing with the '97 now that I have the "new" (and reworked:rolleyes: ) '92 SVX ......:D :D

You can use the insurance check to make the payments! ( Just like Larry, the cable guy)

Then explain how I hit a deer with Penny before I ever had whistles on.......:p
