Svx Super Sport?
Is there any such thing as a SVX super sport? I hadnt ever heard of one until today.....

I've never heard of such a thing.
Maybe someone confused Touring Edition or the special Anniversary Edition for a "SS"? Where did you hear that? |

Yeah, he could've assumed it or he was really sold by whoever conned him into buying it... But really it just sounds like he cleaned up an auction car and is tryin to dump it fast... Or he convinced someone it was worthless, and just cares about making a quick profit on it. The facts and all sound like he skimmed wikipedia on subarus for a quick description. |
Everybody wants their cars to be from Italy today on ebay....N E WAYS if anyone wants me to look at it, just LMK. I am just going out of curiousity because theres no others around here. He just emailed me and said call him at "some number" on Thursday because he wouldnt be there until then. I of course reversed the # to find the address and its someone elses house, I went by there and its not where it can be seen. Theres a time limit on picking up the car , Nov 7. so I am guessing hes trying to dump it. He says hes an expert on them so I was thinking he would know theres no such thing a an SS.

In a "for sale" ad you can use any wording you wish. I've seen SVXs listed as 4-door sedans, hatchback coupes, sports coupes and racing type. They are often listed as having V-6 engines, 4-speeds and custom wheels (when they actually have the stock wheels), or having "all the bells and whistles" when it is a cheaper model. Worst are the ads that say, "slight shifting problem that can probably be fixed for less than $100." Never be surprised by a for sale ad. Buyer beware!

There are a few of us with 4.44 or 4.11 or 5 or 6 speed transmissions using the term, SVX GT:D GT for Gear Transformed or Gear Trader And fewer still usind the term SC SVX, for Supercharged SVX, and fewer still that can use the designation SC SVX GT:D  However Subaru NEVER used the term SS in relationship to the SVX. So that guy could be a (expert) poopyhead.:p |

Silverodo SS Trailblazer SS Cobalt SS Impala SS Chevy uses the SS badge on all the factory tuned cars. My father has the Trailblazer SS. They stuffed a 395HP LS2 into it. Thing runs 13's stock. |

As for the other models you stated, they just call them here: Silverado... Trailblazer... impala... only with no reference to SS :) |
