I did really really well :):)... After around 30+ runs starting at about 12noon yesterday and ending at about 12 noon today (Ran all 24 hours!!!) I managed to get within 2 seconds of the FTD!!! And that is on 3 year old Kumho Supre 712's!!! I really got in the groove this morning... Results will be up sometime within the next few days... I'll link them when they go up... Got video and everything (mostly of night runs)... What a great time!!!

Now, I'm exhausted!!!

Congrats Chris. Sounds like you did well and had a serious blast out there. You should compete at CCR or Triad sports car club events more often.

Chris,
Nice job. Shame you couldn't have gotten those RX-7 rims and some stickier tires on your car before the event!

Well, if you'd just get your .... in gear and get your ME degree you'd have that $$;) (at least until you get married and have kids, that is:eek: )

Btw, who had FTD? Did you get a chance to meet Steve Rankins or Tara Knoll? (they were driving a boxer4racing sponsored '06 STI)

I know Steven personally... Tara on the other hand, I saw her drive and I wasn't "ultra impressed"... Yes, they were driving Steven's car and put down some pretty good times... I think the fastest times that Rankins managed was something like a low 36 second run... The FTD was set by a guy in a Blue 350Z that had one hell of a Titanium exhaust on it!! He made it himself and it sounds like a TRUMPET!!! His time was a 35.05something... He just baerly beat Rob Falkner in his A-Stock Porsche Boxter S (Silver one)... I believe Rob got something like a 35.3something...

I am very satisfied with my 37.xxx run :):) Too bad it was an unofficial run though :(... Still managed to pull off a 38.717 for my fastest official run :)

Tara can be unimpressive at times - I think I've beaten her times on a few occasions. But at other times, she can be an extremely tough competitor and hard to beat.

Steven is a real class act and a great guy to watch. He was testing out some new tires at that event and all were brand new at full tread depth (8-10/32). With shaved tires (3-4/32) he definitely would have been faster.

What class was that 350Z in? B-Stock? BSP? SM?

Missed your autocross by a few days, but I am in Roxboro, NC right now. This rental Jeep Liberty would be interesting on a course too!:D

The 350Z was in BSP... He ran R compounds on his stock wheels... It is a Blue car with a single titanium exhaust... Believe me, you'll know it when you hear it... It sounds simply amazing!!!
