NWSVX Spring Classic II
It's time for another day-long scenic tour, and since it's springtime..... The 2nd Annual Northwest SVX Spring Classic!
The location seemed to be a big hit last year, so it will again be a trip to and down Whidbey Island, starting in Burlington, WA. As with the Fall Colors series, there will of course be changes and improvements to the route (but we're not going to run it backwards just yet. ;) ) Official Website Saturday April 30th, 2005 meeting in Burlington, WA at 10:00am (see web site for more details). An all day scenic tour with something for everyone. Don't miss this one! |
Date for me is good. I will make the day trip, but not an overnight for me. :)
|
Well, the lack of response either means no one is interested, or everyone is 100% cool with everything and just waiting for us to make it official. :D
So I'll go with the latter: It's official, the date will be Saturday April 30th! |
Yippiiiii !!! :D Troy I will meet you there. lol. You should know this group by now. They will not say anything until 3 days before the meet!  At least we have a date now and can start planning it. :)

Yep, this one should be fun! We're going out Saturday to map out the route and scout locations. If I could ask a favor and have everyone continue the sign up list, including if you have any interest in spending the night on the island. Reason being if I have a better idea of how many cars/people there will be, I can figure out what locations will work for the size and which ones won't. Also if there are a few interested in staying the night, I can ask for a block of rooms at one of the hotels.

Hello friends. It's been a while since I've been back to this site and I'm sorry for that. I miss my SVX days, I miss hanging out on the forums every day, and I especially miss the one or two meets I went to in the Seattle area and met all you terrific folks. You guys are great. I'm finishing my sophmore year at the University of Idaho and I plan on working real hard this summer (I don't know where yet...) so I can possibly get my hands on another SVX by the end of the summer.
My greatest memory with my SVX was definitely at the Spring Classic of 2004 when my mom joined my brother and I at the all-day event. My brother was driving his Laguna Blue and I was driving my ridiculously-loud (wheel bearings) Barcelona Red. I still have many pictures from that event that I look at occasionaly. Anyway, good luck with this year's Spring Classic and I wish you all many happy years of motoring. -james |
It promises to be another good one this year! :D

Some of you probably realize this, but just thought I'd say it out loud, I will not be attending any event in the future (unless it is at an event during the week).
I would like to come, but my work schedule no longer allows it. Have fun! |
want to attend.
making plans to attend, will stay someplace overnight.
