Patting myself (and the other mods) on the back
 

I spoke (yeah, a real live conversation...on the phone :D) with a new member looking for some parts today. He was impressed with the site and the attitude of the members, how folks treated each other here and how different this place was than other car forum sites. I thanked him personally for his kind words and explained that I was a moderator here and that we tried to do the right thing and keep this a more family friendly site that was hopefully a little less abrasive than some other car sites I frequent. He said he'd be back.

Here's to Chris (Chris), Colin (sith), Mike (Green1995SVX), Earl (ensteele-oops, sorry Earl), Joe (svxistentialist), Matt (immortal_suby), Doug (mohrds), Nick (Mr. Pockets) for a job well done.

ps-we all know Matt is everyone's favorite moderator, I'm just trying to grab some of his limelight for the rest of us.

Matt is definitely the coolest. But he's also the closest in age to me... :p

I'll pat your back too Todd... I really have been spoiled with this as the first forum I've used... its ironic with the DSM forum that i'm currently using pretty heavily.. you can talk about street racing all you want, but you CANNOT talk about 'bench racing' or they lock it and i'd assume give the person a warning. Thanks to the Mods and Chris
