Legacy for a SVX-- fair trade?

Somebody I know wants to trade their 1994 Subaru Legacy AWD (Automatic, 125K miles) for my 1994 SVX (FWD model, 130K). Is this a fair trade or is my SVX worth more? What do you think?

Not sure.... It depends....

maybe if it was a turbo legacy. I'd rather have a SVX personally, and I love BC legacies.

If it's a regular 4 cyl auto 1994 Legacy, the trade is nowhere near fair (unless you're looking for a car you'll have to worry about less and get better gas mileage). Nothing wrong with the Legacy, but SVX is so much nicer.

If it's a turbo Legacy, then the deal is worth looking at... ;)

Of course it is really up to you and what you think the swap is worth. Not just the value of the cars. If you have some thing that you don't value, and some one needs or whats it, and they feel the same way, it would be a good trade. Value is in the eye of the swapper. :)

Personally i would not do the trade unless there was problem with your SVX. I like1 gen legacys my parents own 3 right now, one that just died with over 350,000 miles on it  . There strong, relible go any were, but there no SVX. There not even quick, dont handle as well, or cruize as well, or look as well in my opinion. If you want a relible, car that should last forever if taken car of, that gets decent gas milleage get the legacy. If you can affrod your SVX and dont need the extra room keep the SVX.
