4 wheel alignment

I was just wondering how much i should expect to pay for a 4 wheel alignment. I just put my car back on the road and it needs an alignment. It is pulling to the right. Plus when i am going 40 or so the wheel shakes a little so i hope an alignment will clear it up.
thanks

Yea, I got mine for 56.95 but it still pulls to the right so I'm going back today after work to get it looked at again... It pisses me off when people can't do the job right the first time then I have to waste my time and gas to get them to do it right... Idiots!!!

Just did mine for about $60.00, you might as well get the wheels balanced at the same time.

$60-$80 is reasonable. You can fix the pull with an alignment, but it probably will not fix the shaking wheel.

Bent wheel

Mychailo is right, prices in this range would be reasonable for the work involved, but only bring it where they can do 4-wheel laser alignment, and the operator knows what he/she is doing.

Shaking could be a wheel out of balance, but if the steering wheel is shaking from it, then it is 90% more likely a bent rim, usually inside front.

Get the alignment people to switch your wheels front to back. This should be front right to rear right, rear right to front right, and likewise on the other side. NO criss crossing as you would on a rear drive car. Get them to balance the two you now have on the front, and then do the alignment. Unless you have bent both rims on the inner side, this should cure the shaking.

Thanks for all the help, I will probably go get the alignment and get all four tire balanced again. I havent had it on the road since late last october but i had the car jacked up for at least 75% of the time. But better be safe then sorry. Plus my security system shot the bed and i am trying to come up with the 100 bux for the module. again thanks for all the help.

Just had mine aligned today - CAD$80 so about USD$50.

Was fairly straight except for excessive toe-in. Unfortunately my AVS db S2's have already started feathering.

As for pulling to the right, that's preferred (if only slightly) because if someone falls asleep at the wheel they will not turn into oncoming traffic.

I am using a shop that charges $80 for a four wheel alignment on a Hunter machine. With this machine the alignment is not dependent on the tires being new. Special fixtures clamp on to the rim of the wheels and then there is a procedure for removing errors that bent rims would cause.
