Carpet Cleaner
 

Ive had my svx for about 2 years and its just been sitting in the back(in dire need of transmission) and somehow water got in and soaked the floor and trunk carpets.I need a carpet cleaner that will get rid of this real bad, mildew, rotten, what crawled in there and died, smell.

First, check and make sure nothing DID crawl in there and die. :eek: Otherwise you'll never get the smell out.

We've had great luck with the Resolve line of products, and Febreze works well as a topical odor-killing application.

You may need to pull the carpets out to really do the job right. :(

Years ago, while living in North Dakota, I used to hear commercials for some stuff called NilOdor - supposedly a drop on the heating duct grilles in your home would neutralize all kinds of smells - cooking, perfume, etc. Where's that stuff when you need it?
