Wheel Refurbisher-Refinisher

Someone (a car guy at work) sent me an internet site for a wheel refinisher in PA. I know nothing about them but thought that I'd post it here. The address is

Not sure Larry but I do know there's a good place right down the street from last year's reading that'll clean up wheels and powdercoat them for ya. Very reasonable prices. I can work on the name if ya want. STOP RUNNING INTO CURBS THOUGH!

Others

There is a place in Sante Fe, NM that sandblasts and powder coats (no repair other than simple filing), but a place in Fort Worth, TX does complete repair and powder coating. Can provide telephone numbers if needed.

I still think Transwheel does the best work. Check out my post in this thread (fourth from top).

Hi All,

Thanks for your concern, but all my SVX wheels (rims) are A-OK.
I just posted this to help any SVXer who might need rims or rim work.

You're not the only one.

I don't remember who it was, but there was somebody at the 10th Anniversary meet with polished rims. They were flewless. Who ever did those knew what they were doing.

It's like you need another RIM.. i prefer not to refurbish, but rather buy a used one (in good condition)

Number

Sorry, but after checking I see they have moved to Dallas. They have a website and it is a company with locations coast to coast. It is Wheels America with locations in TX, NY and CA.

www.fixrim.com

Phone: 214-330-9866 or 888-992-5579

I see they have gone up in price but they do a TOTAL rebuild including straightening, welding and powder coat. Also, offer next day service for their one standard price of $129. (It used to be $100 which included shipping back to you) I have had 5 done with them (when in Ft Worth) and their work was perfect. One time I took my car there and they did all 4 wheels overnight.

Might seem pricey, but if your wheel is bent or chunks out of it, it is well worth it. It is rebuilt to new specs and appearance.

Even better.
