For me it was seeing the son of the aztec driving on the road today.

I have seen a bunch of these and they aren't that bad... They just remind me of the horrible version of I think it was the Malibu that chevy did a few years ago...

Oh god.. The Juke is an atrocity. I actually saw one on the road a month or so ago. What the hell is Nissan doing? The Cube, the Juke... :barf:

So you're comparing it to the GMs common man product rather than the upscale performance Aztek, That's a whole lot better.;) Looking at it from the side just screams Aztek.

As for the Juke, it looks at least original, can't stand the front end but at least it isn't bland-snore-bland like the rest of Nissan's line up and imo is better styled then anything subaru has rolled out in 12 years.

Of all the coupe(ish), suv(ish), wagon(wannabe) crap-cans running around today I think that this is the gold standard of ugly.

The BMW 5GT gives it a run for it's money, but honestly that Honda has a face that not even a mother could love. It kind of looks like this guy; :drool: with it's jaw hanging down (imagine a radiator leak and there you have it). The TSX Sportwagon will be a pretty fine alternative for those of us who value performance, cargo room, mileage, etc. but as long as it wears a stupid Acura grill I wouldn't touch it. Would an honest Accord Wagon be that hard to sell? I can't imagine anyone preferring the Crosstour over the foxy Euro Accord Wagon pictured below.

Yes I think the BMW looks worse then the Accord pigmobile (which by the way weighs in more then a Jaguar XJR). Pictures just don't do the hideousness of the 550i justice. I always liked the way the 5 series wagons looked, would have bought one if they were a little more reliable and economical.

What's really sad is that Honda, BMW, et. al. make those hideous monstrosities solely to appeal to American buyers. The rest of the world seems to appreciate a proper station wagon. Almost makes me want to move.

All this "I'm a coupe, I'm a sedan, I'm a wagon I'm a....what the hell am I?" look is getting absurd. Bring back the good ol' 70's GM warwagon & be done with it. At least there was actually SPACE in these monsters. I miss my '87 Chrysler 5 door LeBaron GTS Turbo. It was what it was, & could haul ass as well as stuff.:lol:
