Yay my sunroof works now
Whee it works. After waxing all around the top of the roof opening where the sunroof is, oiling everything with silcone and adjusting the clutch nut, it seemed to have improved things. It still would still need a push with the finger but I figured out a new trick to getting it open without pushing up on the roof itself.
It requires pushing the open button for the sunroof in 3 quick consecutive presses. The first two presses are pulsed and on the 3rd attempt you press and hold the button. It seems to work in getting the roof to open on just about every attempt I made. It seems to work for me, and I hope it works for all of you. GL! |
I'm glad I don't have a sunroof. Just one more thing to not work perfectly.
