??? They aren't here that I know of. Might just be a local thing, hopefully, although Sunoco isn't really too good on an SVXs internals as they tend to be one of the highest Ethonal inserters by percentage. Not good for rubber!

nope its a nationwide thing i was doing some research on nabisco and apparently 94 is going to be dropped everywhere.

geez
the BEST available locally is 92

most places only 91........
sighhhhhhhh
i wonder if octane booster will make any difference or if the computer would even recognize that it can up the timing beyond its normal range.........?

Budfreak 11-03-2006 01:29 PM

Well that sucks. Thank god I still have 94 for now though.:)

I'm pretty sure the only thing that tells the ECU what octane you're running is the knock sensors, because the only function of higher octane is to prevent knock. It's a myth that burning a higher octane than you need enhances performance. It does nothing but waste money.

Premium in Georgia is 93 octane; has been for years.

Be happy....

You have 93 octane fuel! The highest octane we can get in the Great State of Colorado is 91... It is said that the higher the elevation, the less octane needed for same results as a higher octane fuel. Could be true, but I really don't buy it. I know my Kawasaki Councours M/C runs better on higher octane fuel...
Anyone remember Hancock gas stations?? It seems like they offered 5 or 6 grades of gas....

BTW: Our Colorado gas (some of the worse in the country) is loaded with ethanol. Its' a touchy feel good thing...

Don't feel too bad about that.
All of Alaska dropped down to 90 a couple years ago.
