Impreza seats in a SVX

I was hoping someone could help me. I can pick up a nice set of Impreza WRX seats and wanted to know how much trouble it would be to put them in my 95 SVX. Thanks for any help.

I don't know about the newer Imprezas, but I can tell you it would be a major project to swap seats between an SVX and a first generation Impreza. I've tried it, and the rails are totally different. Swapping the rails from seat to seat would be a pain even if the mounting points happen to be the same distance apart. I think the WRX seats fit in an old school Impreza, so I'd guess you'd have the same problems. If you figure out a way to make it work, I would love to hear about it.

WRX seats are black n' blue. how could that possibly look good? is it for a track car?

I know it may not look the best but I figure a set of tan seat covers will hid the color. I'm mainly interested in the comfort. I drive 98 miles one way to work every day and want a more comfortable seat, plus it saves the original seats.

the svx leather is 100x more comfortable than the wrx seats....

if u want long term comfort i'd recomend a set of sparco's or something with the viscoelastic memory foam for the seating surface
