The meet was very nice. Excellent location....took me and joey about 2 and a half hours to get there and we were goin 95 the whole way. Almost got pulled over too :eek: . Its great to finally put faces to the names and threads lol. And i also found out im not the only philadelphia eagles fan on the boards right taras? :D

Long Beach Island NJ. I had an excellent time at this meet. I wish more of you could have been there since Larry III bought us all lunch:D Thanks a lot for doing that Larry. I guess he felt bad for not bringing any canolis:D :D :D :D :D :D :D Well next year we will be doing it again so keep your eyes peeled for the Jersey Shore III meet.

I miss Long Beach Island. My inlaws used to have a 35' Silverton down in Penna Marina, which was on Tebco Terrace, at the very southern end of the Island in Holgate. They moved it to Manahawkin which is on the mainland side of the bay. It's up for sale now as they travel more then they use the boat. I always liked going there in the summer. Much more adult then many shore towns.

when was the last time you were here in the summer? Kids dominate this island now and it will soon turn into a seaside or wildwood. It sucks because i have to watch it happen. Cops are cracking down on it now. Since this past summer we have had an 11 pm curfue for all under 18 and it is stricktly enforced. I think it was quoted that Beach Haven township made over a million dollars on curfue fines alone. Pretty funny huh? well we will be having this meet next year, maybe in the fall so the weather is a little warmer, although i think we caught the nicest day in December for this meet. I was very happy with the turnout and the weather, i had a great time. thnx to all who came along

The last time was the summer of 2000. Holgate is more quiet then up in Beach Haven near Fantasy Island. My boss at McGuire AFB is a Harvey Cedars officer. he is retiring from the Reserves in Feb and from the PD in 3 years. The northern end of the island always seemed to be full of New Yorkers. Hence I never went north of Ship Bottom if I didn't have to! :) Sorry soobiesvx93 :D
