What does this do ...

Found it this morning split from the rear of the manifold, I think it must be some sort of vacuum line (as it had no clamps).

I managed to get a same dia. replacement hose (used a fuel line hose).

I wonder if this was causing my "CHECK ENGINE" light to come on - error 45, which is atmospheric sensor (even though we don't have that on the NZ version).

It's the manifold pressure line for the fuel regulator, varies the fuel pressure to suit the throttle opening. If it was leaking you would have used more gas. Harvey.

so having it complety break and fall off at one end, was a lucky find, as I did some work yesterday and it was fine - drove it about 5kms today and went to hook up the trickle battery charger...

Above the Audi are about 30 boxes of SVX spares ..... the bike on the right next to the SVX is a 1992 Slingshot from the USA.
I built the garage about 25 years ago.
My first car is in the photo on the back wall - 1972 Mitsubishi Galant GTO 1700SL 4-speed, even rarer than an SVX.
