...but I think i saw a newer red Acura today that looked very much like it was Barcelona red. Looked like a new model. I have a brilliant red SVX and my daughter has Barcelona red, and I appreciate the difference. anyone care to comment, otherwise I am just jabbering.
personally I prefer the Barecelona red, love the very subtle, darker color red.

I will check out the color and see how close it is. :)

I now own a Brilliant Red and formerly owned a Barcelona Red. I also agree that the Barcelona is a much nicer red. The darker color just looks so much better. If I ever have to have my 96 Brilliant repainted, it will end up Barcelona.

Looks like there is an Acura color called Redondo Red Pearl, that is probably what I saw.
edited to add:there are some other Acura reds also - Moroccan red pearl and Milano red. the one I saw was definitely beautiful, I didn't really notice a "pearl" but I guess it could have been
