Strut
I am looking to replace my struts and was wondering if there is any others that can be used besides the Koni?
Plus how often do they need to be changed out? Thanks, Adam |
Well, aside from stock which are by far the easiest to change and the Konis that will take at least 4 hours to change some have experimented with Impreza fronts on the SVX rear.

If you change them, they probably will not have to be done again for 10 to 15 years. :) It would depend how many miles you put on the car.

Struts
Right now my 92 has 126K miles on her. They feel like they are slowly going. Any good sources for struts?
Cheers, Adam |
You can get stock ones from subaruparts.com.

Does Bilstein make struts for us? I know flatt-racing has a strut/spring set up for us but its like 3000$ I think.

Here you go ... some customized struts for the SVX:

Impreza struts will work just fine (fronts in the back). Just need to grind the hub down to size. Haven't experimented with the rears up front yet but they should work just the same from the looks of it again with the grinding of the hub and then you have the issues with the sway bar that really needs to go anyways I'm coming to realize.
