pocket under seat
 

sorry for the n00b question but I have seen SVXes with a pocket (tray) under the seat on the passinger side of the car. My car is pocketless. :( Why? Is it the fact that I have an L or is it year dependent? What do I have to do to have this pocket under the seat? Thanks for any and all info.!

Its only on the Touring models so LS-L , LSi, not sure on the rest but basically if you have leather seats you get the storage tray. I believe thats how it is.

It holds almost nothing anyhow. I think I can fit the owners manual and 1 cd in it.

if I had one though I would jam the owners manual under there to free up some glove box space. Does it use special brackets or anything like that?

it wouldn't kill for this thing to have cup holders too... (i went looking for a wedge and walmart didn't have one)

Yes... it has brackets to slide the tray into.

I'll have to look at my spare seats and see if they put brackets on them. interesting.

It can hold up to 8 mini Canolli or 6 mini Sfogliatelle but you have to line the tray with parcment paper first.

What most people don't know is this:

There is an elastic strap in the glove box which is made to hold the Oink (Owners information kit) against the back wall of the gloe box. This should allow you to store your manual in there and have it use almost no space. :)

if you get to WM BEFORE you leave to come to Reading get me one. I was at mine last week and there was none to be found. Do not go out of your way to do it though... Denise will thank you a lot! :lol:

so I found that strap....oh that is so cool and helpful too. I looked at one of my spare L seats in the basement and there is no way to put a tray on there that I can see. That'll happen I guess.
