The antenna unplugs from under the carpet on the driver's side of the tranny tunnel. They're just below where the console meets the carpet. There are two of them. The radio has two about a foot to foot and a half leads that are soldered, with a male plug on one side and a female on the other. When you replace your unit, you'll only need to use the one lead into the appropirate (I think female) lead that goes to the antenna, unless your Alpine unit uses diversity tuning, in which case, it will also have two leads.

There is one male plug coming out of the car, you plug that into the female hole in your new radio. You may have to pull up the carpet a bit to change the routing of the antenna wire so it is long enough to make it to your radio - or you could buy an extension for it. You will not need to solder anything.

There is another female plug coming from the car which is basically useless. I remember hearing it is for the glass antenna that tunes AM radio but unless your new radio has this capability you won't even plug it into anything.
