VERY VERY CAREFULLY

the coils inside the sensors are fragile and if you use a BFH to get them out, you're sure to break them. A new sensor will run you about $110.. not pretty. Since we broke mine when removing it (NOT required for the replacement of a CV axle, though Chilton's would like you to believe otherwise), I can't tell you how to do it without breaking them, but I'll just warn you to be careful..

I asked the same question a month ago on the rear spindal housing. (for the rear bearings) I was told to get PB liquid at my local automotive store and after spraying the sensor remove. One person told me that he used a chisel and rocked the sensor back and forth until it came out. I haven't tried mine yet but this is what I was told.

Yep, that's what I did. Tap the chisel between the sensor and backing plate from several different angles to rock the sensor out. Takes about 10 min per sensor. Don't forget the PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench.
