Reading 14 Group Drive
 

We worked out a group drive to Valley Forge Historical Park. We will be leaving the Hotel Parking lot at 10:30 on Saturday morning. If you want to go along, please be out in the lot by 10:00.

If you have a FRS radio (walkie talkie) please bring it along. We will be using channel 14.

It is a 75 mile drive. Please have at least 1/2 a tank of gas.

There will be two $3.55 tolls (EZPass $2.71) on the Turnpike. If you want to avoid the tolls and meet us at the park by taking Route 23 the whole way, you should leave by 9:30.

For anyone that won't be leaving from the hotel that wants to meet us at the park. Meet us at Washington Memorial National Carillon. It is a large chapel along Route 23 on the north side of the park. -GPS- 40.104435,-75.437622
The group from the hotel will be arriving there between 11:00 and 11:15.

If you have a GPS bring it. If not I will be posting a sheet of directions. It will have turn by turn directions as well as GPS coordinates of a few stops.

Can we bring our "lowly" non-SVX vehicles on this drive?

If so, I assume we will be relegated to the end of the line which is no problem.

Actually if we are smart we will put you at the rear due to all your obnoxious fumes from your archaic Bosch fuel injection on your pretty red door wedge. ;)

You can fight over who wants the rear the most I guess :p
