brakes

My rotors have started to warp. I want to replace them with drilled and vented rotors. Will I also have to replace the calipers and pads to use the new rotors or can I use the oem calipers with the new rotors?

I do not race on a track and have never had a problem stopping.:o

Re: brakes

If you're not on the track get some nice blanks... At the very most slotted. Drilled rotors always crack.

ALWAYS use new pads on new rotors.

When doing a brake replacement/install it is always a good idea to inspect everything. Boots on calipers etc. Replace what is necessary.

1. Contact svxfiles.

2. Buy brake kit. (slotted/dimple drilled rotors, ceramic pads, SS flex lines)

3. Install kit.

4. Be happy.

5. Use money saved over OEM parts to buy beer.

+1! ...Minus the beer... Get Chinese or something.

Seriously though OT's brake set is AMAZING!

Thanks for all the ideas. Now I know what to do. I will go with the slotted/dimple rotors, with new ceramic pads.

Since I am not a beer drinker, I will have a nice bottle of wine.:D:D:D
