strange noise problem

ok, sorry for the bad english but i'm french so it's not easy for me!

to the begin of my story whit my svx, i have a noise when slow or normal accelerations.
i mean something like 0km/h to 10 or 20km/h.
this sound look like a worn front axle.
like a stumbling. ( dont know if it's the good word. in french, it's " vibrations " or " tremblements " )
doing that all the time when you go forward, dont do it in reverse.
doing it in D normal position and doing more noise in D "manual" position.
doing more when uphill.
doing more when wheels turned to the right side.
no sound when full throttle launching.

that look like burned clutch on a manual trans.

so what is it?
front dif killed?
the slipping system of the trans?
main shaft?
play on the lower arm?

what do you think? thanks! ;)

Gut feeling tells me you are talking about the solenoid in the back of the gearbox...
