Update on new SVX Yipee!!
 

Just got back from the tranny shop. I was told (okay, it was implied by Subaru) that the tranny was probably shot -binding etc so it was in FWD mode. My guys flushed it/ lube/new filter and said drive it then come back and we'll see. Seems everything is working fine, no binding, I'm AWD!! :)
Now its fix the muffler, seems I need a new head pipe; new brake pads to stop the squeal 'cause its driving me crazy; transmission rad and filter.

Quick question: My power light blinks that I have a code (#25 engine torque control signal). Had it checked and working fine. Flashing stopped. But now the power light still does 16 blinks sometimes, always the same 25 when I check, but it doesn't flash everytime I start up? I thought I read somewhere that you can't clear the code unless the problem's fixed. Why does it only flash occasionally?:confused:

Glad to hear all went well with the tranny flush Cynic. Looks like you dodged a bullet. As for the blinky light, I wish I could help, ut I'm just not SVXperinced.
