Welders/tool type advise

Does anyone have or know of a decent semi-portable all in one welder, compressor, generator? I found some online but they were either huge or expensive or both. I'm not in the market now but would like one in the future as I have no electricity in my garage. Something on wheels would be cool.

If you just plan on using it in your garage running electric would be way cheaper! What are you wanting to weld?

A. I rent the garage and they will not let me run electric.

B. Don't laugh but I was on a 12-21-2012 website looking at survival stuff  would be nice to have a generator handy. That's my birthday btw:eek:

Oh you're one of those people.:D:D:D Then what you need to understand is that they're all idiots if they are recommending a gas powered generator.;) Gas engines wouldn't be a real good investment for a 12-21-12 type happening. Where are you gonna get fuel for it? et yourself a nice old fashion steam gen and get ready. If a petro fired device is what you want then at the very least go diesel!

So again, what do you want to weld? There are some set ups for light duty welding that will do just fine off an idling car or motorcycle.

I just like to be prepared for stuff :p It would be for light body work, patching rust spots and slight modifications exhaust repairs etc.. building a bomb shelter, you know:D the generator part would be for lighting, electric drill, buffer maybe a sawzall. Compressor would be for blowing air, filling tires maybe an impact wrench:confused: Smaller the better, I have a tiny garage. tiny
