jan. in iowa......
 

Not your typical jan. here in the Hawkeye state. Yesterday it got to 55 degrees. Today's high is supposed to be 60 to 62. Left work early yesterday so that I could put the windows down, open the sunroof, crank the stereo and cruise. I must have driven around Des Moines for 3 hours. Maybe I'll do it again today.

I just spent a week in Missouri Valley, Shocker. I told my stepson that we'd "swapped weather." I left Kentucky with three inches of snow on the ground and temps in the 20's. I was greeted in Iowa with brown, dry fields and temps in the 50's. It was kinda goofy. :D

Meanwhile, temps are expected to hit 60 today, here in the Bluegrass State.

I can't stand it any longer....i am leaving work ASAP!!!! I won't see weather like this till April.

I use to live in Ankeny, so i know what your talking about. ITs 40 here in WI, and we have virtually no snow!

Got to 67 here yesterday, today its 34 and windy as all get out. back to reality i guess

Up to 60 again, today, but tomorrow, it's supposed to get cold. Looks like we're getting our weather via Iowa. :D

We had our hot flash. It lasted 2 days and now it's back to normal...including the snow.
