Driving with concealed Handgun

I just got my concealed handgun license and have found how uncomfortable this seat is with a hip holster. Until now the narrow seats have fit me well, but now I wish they were a little wider.

It's fully possible to conceal it in the glove compartment, yes?

E, what are you going to carry?
My Taurus Millennium Pro is about a pound lighter than my Taurus PT99, and 2.25 inches shorter in total length.

For in car carry I think a leather bag with a flap mounted on the passenger side transmission tunnel, about whereever is a comfortable reach is a good idea!

In W.Virginia, they say they'd rather people with conceal carry permits to have the weapon on their person even in the car. If it's not on them, the rules say it must be unloaded with gun and ammo separated.

Tom, I carry a Smith & Wesson Sigma series SW40V.....a bit too big for an ankle holster.

How about an Uncle Mikes shoulder rig?
You should have lots of side room.:)

That would work this time of year but it's hard to conceal without a jacket in the warmer weather.

I have one of those but in 9mm. It's almost the same size as my full size Glock .45! Gonna be tough to sit comfortably in a car with that thing on your waist.

Fortunately, SC law allows glovebox or center console storage of a loaded weapon.
