When the car backs itself into a van, can I call Lexus and get them to pay for it? Their engineers were driving the car!

The person in the front is called the DRIVER for a reason!

Why can't Peterbuilt, or Freightliner make something like that? It would make backing into a tight loading dock much easier:) Seriously though they are useing the same technology and some of the large trucking companies are putting sensors in the front and blind side of semi's. The blind side sensor tells the driver if a car is in the blind spot and then if the driver trys to move into that lane a buzzer and light go crazy to warn the driver and the front sensor kicks the cruise control off if you get too close to a car or a car cuts in front of your safety zone. I can't wait for the technology to become affordable so I can put the sensors on my truck.

I would love to see how that does in Manhattan's tight parking spaces.
