With a 5 speed or nitrous, Kelli?

I don't think anyone has even hit quite 144... maybe... but I know plenty have come fairly close (just under 130 for me).

BLKSVX92 05-04-2003 09:02 PM

ive hit 140 - 144 once, still could have pushed her, but that was years ago, and definalty was the most stupid thing i have ever done, i still wish i had a pic of the speedo though :p

"Between 1995 and 1999, Mitsubishi produced a limited number of two seat mid-engined GTO’s (Japanese name for the 3000GT) that were sold in Japan only as the GTO MR."

NEAT!

I've only gotten up to 130. I need to find a longer road.

AWD

HOW COME THEY NEVER NEVER mention that LITTLE detail that the SVX was/is AWD !!! They never do that when they compare these. Doesn't ANYBODY care?

i care;) they also didn't size them up in car crashes...i think the svx offers a little more in the safety dept

Kelli

they did not mention of the bad bearings, rotors, the little button in the center console, and others

Note the paragraph that begins "Fast Forward 5 Years":

Quote:

Fast-Forward 5 years: By 1993, all six of these automakers have ‘halo’ cars that are well established in the western markets. Subaru’s SVX was an AWD Grand-Touring cruiser with 230 hp and exotic styling penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro of ItalDesign.

op!

Good eyes. Still they might as well have left it out. Everytime I read a review of Subaru vs. the rest of the pack they leave it out. When comparing the WRX to it's competitors in an recent article (some car mag) it was never mentioned.

Really just venting....

svx_commuter 05-06-2003 05:42 AM

According to that the brakes on the SVX are better than the Supra, 300SX and 3000GT. Why have the SVX brakes gotten bad press?

Porter 05-06-2003 06:22 AM

I've hit 150 in mine... the previous owner had a picture of the speedo pushing 160.

Maybe I got a Wednesday car?

Hey Porter, how bad is the engine straining at 150?????? RPM's???? Is it loud, or is it smooth and quiet like the SVX is at 100mph????? I got an evil thought when I saw you said that you got to 150mph... I was thinking about two SVXes going down the Hiway playing "tag" at 150 mph...:D :D  I'd like to try it, but probably will never do it in my SVX....
