To Org/Net Admin:

I'm asking for a little help here in the Rocky mountain area.... Could we change the Region From Southwest lumping us in with California (not that there's anything wrong with that:eek: ) and the people down south that don't get (added later for Dick:D) *good* snow.. to maybe an Intermountain Region maybe like Idaho, Colo, Ut, Wyo, Mont.??? Do we need a motion to the chair? a vote, ??? \

Just trying to stir up some interest in a meet back here......:D :D

Uncamitzi - can you send me a PM about this in a week or so? I'm in the middle of finals right now, so I'll probably forget to take care of it by the time I actually have a spare moment.

By "people down south that don't get snow", are you talking about northern New Mexico, where it's snowed at least 3 times and we're skiing our butts off? ;)

Dick, Don't get me started on what you guys call snow down there. Although we are waiting for our first big storm of the season (damn split jet stream!!) I'll put our powder up against your concrete anytime... ;) ;) :D And you don't really think that you are part of the "intermountain" area do you?

Thanks for playing.."WHO HAS THE GRREATIST SNOW ON EARTH" game!!!!

:D

Hey, we got a mountain down here, I can see it from my kitchen!!!! I think it's even the butt end of the ones you've got up there!!!!!

That's okay if northern New Mexico is excluded. We wouldn't want to be a part of any organization that would have us. :D

Now Dick (can I call you Dick?)

I'm not trying to start a war......;) I'm just trying to find a couple of people up here in the Northern part of the Southwest (?????) to meet with..... I'm hoping I'm not the only SVX enthusiast within a couple of hundred miles.... I've been to one meet.. back in Santa Clara and we had a blast... If it comes to it (maybe even if it doesn't) I would love to come down there and participate...... After the snows gone... and while it's still coolish down there...( I don't do well in hot)..... So Ski away.... and please don't take anything personal.... :D :D :D

thanks for bring up the thread again so I'm reminded of the Pm to sith....:D

Just pulling your leg, Mitch, I didn't take it personally. Snow here frequently sucks, unlike real snow in real mountains.

I know how you feel about getting together, there aren't many people from NM on this forum either. I'd kill to be able to do Reading.

To tell the truth, I'd live in Montana if I had my druthers. :) :)

Mitch,
I'm only 300 miles or so from you here in western CO. 3 of us did a SLC meet last April (pics in my locker, and there's a story to it as well). There seems to have been an influx of CO SVXers lately I've noticed. We should try to schedule something over a weekend once the weather isn't so damn unpredictable.

Michelle,

I may take you up on it if I can't get any response here.... I envy the people back east ... it sounds like you can't swing a dead cat without hitting another member back there.....;)
