I'm curious as to how you replicate the original gun metal finish after you mill down the surface to get rid if the Center "divot" that was iin earlier posts.

Or are these divot-less from the manufacturer?

I am not sure..now that it looks like a few people want Gunmetal I'll get one and see..I'd like to think it can be made to work somehow..

Ok, I ordered some caps. A silver,red,and gunmetal one.

Red costs more but it adds +10Hp :lol:

Stay tuned...

Maybe later down the road I'll snatch up a chrome too, because I might be putting way too much red things around my engine.

Making chips!

I bought a few sample caps. One chrome, gunmetal, and red. None of them have the divot problem of the other one, so that is good.

I should have some pictures up later on this afternoon of the finished ones:)

The Red is for me :)
