removing spoiler
Has anyone removed their spoiler before. If so what did you do with the holes on the trunk lid?

I've removed it...and done nothing...the holes are all there.

find small plugs that will cover the holes... Your best bet it to find a trunk lid without a spoiler and have it painted or find one in your color

I found some hard plastic at a hardware store, 7/16" if I remember. Hardly noticable, I'm pleased.

Theres 4 bolts with washers holding it in, very easy to remove (Unless some jerkface managed to put a nut on upsidedown....Dont even ask)
As for the holes...If it doesnt bother ya, you dont need to fill them in, as they will drain to the part outside of the trunk jam's weatherstripping. You can always fill the holes with something like bondoglass or fiberglass resin. Best way is to put some tape on the underside of the hole and to fill it up. A little touch up paint on the freshly plugged hols will make it less noticable, or at that point you can have a bodyshop repaint the trunklid |
