He mentions eletrical. Could be as easy as bulbs, pigtails, or maybe a bad wire.

For the power steering I do believe I have heard of a sensor in the PS rack.

You could perform a power steering code check to determine that one and the other fault could be a bulb or bad wire somewhere. This doesn't sound like too big of a deal.

It means that the Alternator is going bad or that there is a loose connection in the alternator harness.
