Subaru WRX Concept Car ?
I was doing a search for AutoX in Fayetteville, NC and came across this in the NASIOC Fayetteville thread:
Imagine this at your local Subaru dealer.... http://www.xcceleration.com/imp-gall...cept.front.htm http://www.xcceleration.com/imp-gall...ncept.back.htm http://www.xcceleration.com/imp-gall...ept.rtside.htm http://www.xcceleration.com/imp-gall...ept.lfside.htm Sorry if this has already been posted. |

I would much rather have that on the lot than the new 08 Impreza.

wow, they definately wanna compete with Mitsu on that aggresive look.
personally I find the back to be the most attractive part, the front is very very aggrevise with good cues but it actually is a bit TOO complicated, simplifying and unifying the look could help, though I prefer these headlights over all models since the old late 90's/early '00s. everything seems good until you see that side profile....yuck :barf: it can't decide if it wants to be a hatch or a coupe, it's trapped in purgatory. with the particular aggressive elements they use, i would say go for the coupe, or even go and add some rear doors, I like hatches, don't get me wrong, but the particular design elements lend themselves to a sightyly longer hatchback coupe style. something akin to, say, the side profile of an '99 2.5 RS THAT would be plain sexy...and a helluva lot better than that gross excuse for an impreza they're trying to sell now for '08. now, the more that i look at it, I see some definite Ford Mondeo in those headlights; Ah, "kinetic" design. |
They have pics of the actually prototype STI on NASIOC.com It actually looks better as the 5 door. The wing looks better too. I want a wing like that for my OBS. I have the pic on my computer and they don't work well for posting so if anyone wants to see them I'll either find the link or you can IM me on AIM.
