Praying that I can make it to reading

I'm trying to save up as much money as I can to make the meet in reading this year. I missed out on last years meet and I would hate to miss this years meet. My car needs a few things like pads and rotors and minor stuff plus i gotta pay for the hotel room so pray i can make it!! :D

Earthworm 03-09-2006 05:33 PM

What do you want us to do...give you money? :D

n00b on demand 03-09-2006 05:38 PM

LOL not at all but that would help!! :D

I'm sure someone on here will let ya crash with them. Reading isn't that expensive of a place to be. I had some Subie friends in the area but everyone went off to college or I'd talk to someone to hook ya up with a place to stay.

Well TomsSVX and I are going half and half on a room......the money for the hotel isn't the issue. Its the gas money and the brake job ahead and all that crap. :D

Well good luck with everything. If I was going home on leave at that time I'd be there. I'll have to be there in spirit this year. Hell if I was going I could maybe talk my G-rents into letting some of you guys crash out there. lol.

My gas mileage is terrible and is slowly getting worse. Gotta get those o2 sensors replaced soon.

I hate you Phil....

Tom, I think I can help out with some things... Maybe a tech session on how to do you brakes... Still doesn't help the fact that you need to buy the parts though

tom

Tom,

Kinda hoping we can get the brakes done before reading :D .....i'll let you know when and if I have everything together. I need to get my wheels balanced first

Is there really a tech session in this reading? How long (hrs) does it allow?

My yellow needs the passenger side ball joint, tie-rods(maybe) and brake pads from rear soon! If there's a tech session, is there's any openings? My yellow wud be more than willing to be a tech session car, if I can make it to reading, if this is yes, and will help me go to the reading with higher chance......if there's true, wud be glad to take some pics while tom working on my yellow

I'm financially so tight because of lot of unexpected/unlucky things happened. My yellow is scheduled for a second 4.44 swap. Things not going as smooth/thought, it would be done the week after next.(I hope this time will be successful) While I aint sure if it's safe to drive that far, it might be able to make it there.
